Havana. – THE REPRESENTATIONS of Santiago from Cuba and Guantánamo ran off with today with the biggest prizes in Cubaila 2019, in the event with the attendance of seven counties.

The santiagueros received the distinction of Great Prize today in the edition that had again as headquarters to the coliseum of the Sport City of the capital.

On the other hand those of Guantánamo obtained rewards for more originality, better video of Solvisión among the telecentros, and for more outstanding choreography.

In other winning sections, Granma obtained that of more number of participants, Camagüey that of better choreography, Villa Clara that of more inclusive choreography, and Havana that of the popularity for 1 305 received votes.

This morning in the sport installation their demonstrations groups of Pinegrove of the River, Mayabeque and Artemisa also carried out.

The traditional event another time he/she was devoted to the anniversary of the Commandant’s birthday in Boss Fidel Castro Ruz, also in greeting to the 59 birthday of the Federation of Cuban Women, to the Youth’s International Day and the 500 years of the foundation of the village of San Cristóbal from Havana.

The versions of Cubaila are made every year with the purpose of contributing to improve the quality of the population’s health by means of the realization of physical exercises through dances and executions with Cuban and international songs.

With convocations for the different groups of ages, Cubaila is the famous activity of the Sport for All.

This year he/she had the particularity of being accompanied by music dedicated to the Cuban sport and parameters like the correspondence music, movements, and dynamism were rewarded, besides novel forms of the choreographies.

The election of the winners was made by a tribunal integrated by a noted group of professionals as Melix Ilisástegui, national director of Science, Technology and environment of the Inder, and the metodólogas of that organism Dania García, María Berroa, Belkis Suárez and Mercedes Araujo.

Before the beginning of the executions he/she was carried out a homage to the recently deceased partner María Trinidad Bequer Grove of the Valley who was director of Massive Acts of the Inder, indefatigable instigator of the program Deports for All and one of the founders of Cubaila.

The activity was witnessed by the first vice-president of the Inder, Raúl Fornés Valenciano, next to other officials of political organizations and of masses, of the sport organism and glories of the sport.
