Next we transmit a convocation of the Power station of Workers from Cuba and the National Unions calling to the whole Cuban town to participate in the festejos for the international day of the workers this First of May.
The Power station of Workers from Cuba and the National Unions summon to all our town to a massive day of national mobilization to take place the International Day of the Workers, presided over by the central motto of Unit, Commitment and Victoria, as expression of our convictions.
We will celebrate this First of May inmersos in the battle for the economic efficiency that today constitutes the fundamental, and aware task that in the materialization of its priorities it is decisive the contribution of the workers. It will allow us to it to continue advancing in the programs of strategic development of the country, in the satisfaction of the necessities of the town and in the improvement of the labor and salary conditions.
The party of the world proletariat will have a special motivation: the overwhelming one Yes of our town in the Referendo Constitutional, unequivocal confirmation of the decision of Cuban and Cuban of to preserve and to perfect the Socialism. Now an important stage legislativa begins in that, as union organization, we will have a protagonistic paper in our representation exercise. It also motivates us the next realization of the final sessions of the XXI Congress of the CTC, of the one that without a doubt will derive important agreements directed to face the complexities of the current labor and union scenario successfully.
To so big reasons they sink this year the commemorations of the anniversaries 60 of the victory of the Revolution, 150 of the Constitution of Guáimaro and 60 of the creation of the Militias National Revolutionaries, next to the bicentennial of Carlos’ birthday Manuel of Grasses. They are transcendent pages that ennoble the native history and they secure our fight traditions.
In the compact ones and colorings parades, concentrations, acts in the squares and towns of the whole country will multiply the I claim for the criminal’s ceasing and genocidist economic, commercial blockade and financier tax to Cuba that now you recrudece. We will reaffirm the decision of being always watchful and preparations to defend the Homeland as the biggest honor and the supreme duty of each Cuban.
Countrymen:
The celebration of this day will be characterized by the patriotism, the happiness, the individual and collective recognition to the experiences of vanguard, as well as for the invariable commitment of the workers with the sustained advance of the process of bring up to date of the Cuban economic and social pattern that we build for sovereign decision.
We will highlight the example and the teachings of Lázaro Rock González, Jesus Menéndez Larrondo, José María Pérez, Alfredo López and other labor leaders that identify to our unions. They are flag and they represent the Cuban worker’s high values.
We will ratify our back to the towns siblings of Latin America and the Caribbean, today besieged by the offensive of the right and the escalade injerencista of the government from United States, seconded by an enormous campaign mediática based on the lie, with the objective clearing of destabilizing the progressive social projects, in particular to the threatened Republic Bolivariana of Venezuela whose heroic town is resolved to defend its sovereignty and self-determination to the price that is necessary.
We will continue articulating with the different social actors the battle for the political, economic, social and cultural integration of the Latin American and Caribbean Community of States (Celac).
Again we express the solidarity with the union organizations that fight for the recovery of the genuine rights of the workers in the world, always faced to the power hegemónico of the employers and the present exploitation of the capitalist régime.
Workers and Cuban workers:
This First of May will give another overwhelming demonstration of the indestructible unit of our heroic town, next to their Party and their Revolution; we will reveal the commitment contracted by the workers and we will demonstrate to the world, once again, our fight capacity and sign conviction that we will always reach the victory.
